Production Process and Services

CNC fabrication is the only reliable method for producing curved marble panels that deliver consistent radius control, clean edge geometry, and dimensional repeatability. Our process:

Step 1: Slab selection and scanning
Slabs are selected for colour consistency and veining character. Each slab is digitally scanned to map veining patterns - essential for preserving continuity across segmented curved panels.

Step 2: Digital nesting and vein mapping
CAD files are used to nest panel cuts, minimising waste and ensuring vein flow across multiple panels. For book-matched or sequence-matched installations, panel numbering and orientation are fixed at this stage.

Step 3: Multi-axis CNC profiling
Slabs are cut to arc profiles using multi-axis CNC equipment. Convex curves (outward-facing columns) and concave curves (inward-facing niches) require different tool paths - our programming accounts for both.

Step 4: Dry fitting and verification
All panels are dry-fitted at the factory prior to packaging. Radius is verified against templates; seam gaps are measured and adjusted to under 1mm. Veining continuity is visually confirmed.

Step 5: Edge finishing and installation marking
Panel edges are finished to specification. Anchor points, Z-clip locations, and installation sequence are marked on each panel.

 

Quality Control Standards

Dimensional verification: Each panel checked against CAD with +/-5mm tolerance

Radius verification: Panels measured against radius templates

Vein continuity: Panels arranged to ensure colour consistency and continuous vein flow

Custom contour supports protect curved panels during container shipment. Each panel is wrapped with protective film, edge guards, and foam padding. Fumigated wooden crates with reinforced strapping. Seaworthy for FOB Xiamen export. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV) available upon request.
